Global Youth Awards
We have been running the Global Youth Awards (previously the Positive for Youth Awards) since 2012 celebrating extraordinary young people that are working to create lasting change in the world.
We have been running the Global Youth Awards (previously the Positive for Youth Awards) since 2012 celebrating extraordinary young people that are working to create lasting change in the world.
The concept came from working with MP Tim Loughton on changing attitudes to young people as at the time of concept there was a lot of negative press about youth rather than focusing on the brilliant things young people that are trying to do. The awards is part of our giving back via our charity 'The Legacy Project'.
We celebrated our UK event at Magazine London with 12 young people including Banna receiving recognition for what they are doing. We were delighted that she was able to join us for the event and collect her award in person as we truly feel that she is an agent for change which I believe started at Sixth form teaming up with OPP to help the academy be more ecological.
