Oli is a former student who left Post 16 in 2007 after studying A-Levels in physics, chemistry and computing at Post 16. During his time at the academy Oli was active in a number of enrichments, including web design and was a regular contributor in the studio. He was a senior student and took part in the ‘coast to coast’ cycle event.
After leaving Macmillan, Oli went on to study at Newcastle University. As well as completing his BSc in Computer Science, Oli joined the Newcastle University Parachute Club, becoming a qualified skydiver in his first year, and taking the role of the club secretary in his second and third years.
After finishing university, Oli moved to London to work for AKQA, the world’s most awarded digital agency, where he was a user experience architect working on brands such as Nike, MINI, Rolls-Royce and Marks & Spencer. He is currently working in the financial sector as a freelance user experience consultant.
