Student Union

Student Union

Post 16 Students’ Union promotes the interests and welfare of Post 16 students, providing a channel of communication between each other, the college and external organisations as well as giving them the chance to meet new people, try new things and get more involved with college life.

The students' union is run by students for the students and is responsible for:

  • Student representation across all sites and study programmes
  • Social activities
  • Campaigns
  • Charity Activities
  • Trips
The Students’ Union exists to make your lives as students better.

One of the key ways we work to do this is ensure that students’ voices are heard. We believe that students should be active partners in their learning while at Post 16, and we work closely with departments and the Post 16 leadership team to make changes that will benefit students.

The Student Union Room is a fun and exciting place in the college where there is always something happening. It is a room where you can work, talk, it is a great place to meet new people and get involved in various types of activities. The SU can provide you with advice on a number of issues and we are always here to help!
