COVID CATCH UP

With the disruption caused by COVID 19 over the past 2 years, it has always been our intention to provide students with a complete re-engagement and catch-up plan in order to ensure a speedy return to full academic studies and ensure 100% positive destinations at the end of Year 13. Opportunities are available across the board to all Post 16 students but specifically to those who are disadvantaged to ensure Post 16 attainment across both year groups returns to pre-pandemic levels. We have provided and continue to provide an ongoing subject support programme across all subjects which is accessible for all students in Post 16 regardless of ability. Staff go over and above to support our cohorts. We have also utilised catch up funding to provide 1:1 and small group tuition for identified students in most need. This tuition has benefitted over half our students in Year 13 during the last academic year. We have also purchased the Seneca online learning platform which complements lessons and can be accessed by all students across Post 16.
